I am the Vice Dean of the Libraries at the University of Arizona - I essentially act as the Chief Operating Officer. Our IT department, Special Collections, Access and Information Services, and Research Engagement (where scholarly communications, data science, data management, and research support all live) report to me. My background is in scholarly communications, institutional repositories, research data services, and digital preservation.
